We got a chance to see one of my favorite artists on a rare Saturday night show at Uncle Calvin's Coffee House. Slaid Cleaves performed a wonderful set of original and cover tunes. He had the excellent side man Michael O'Connor with him to add some tasty lead guitar licks to the tunes. I volunteered to bus tables during the breaks, and thus, got in free. I bought a ticket for Ok Hwa.
